Original Pre Civil War Wickham M1816 Musket. Marine T. Whickham of Philadelphia was an inspector for the US Government before becoming a gun maker. This is example is in attic fresh condition with great displaying patina. The walnut stock shows heavy wear from service but only has a few minor cracks around the buttplate and one on left side of barrel. Has inspector cartouche reverse of the lock. The mechanics are fully functional with the flintlock hammer clicking in two positions. Has the Wickham Maker Mark as well as 1832 date. The barrel is full length of 42" with nice markings as shown in pics. Has the original iron barrel bands. Please see all photos. Free shipping!
