Original Pre Civil War Springfield M1795 Flintlock Musket in Museum Quality Condition. The barrel and lock have a smooth overall gray patina finish and the stock is in great shape with no breaks or cracks. The mechanics are not currently functional. Hammer is stuck in place and I did not try to force it too hard. Someone with experience could have it resolved quickly I'm sure. Does have a beautiful Springfield, Eagle and U.S. on the lockplate. The barrel has couple of proofs and a faint 1816 date. A great overall example that belongs in really nice Musket Collection or Museum. Please see all photos and call or write for more information.
