Original Civil War Spencer M1860 Cavalry Carbine with beautiful displaying patina. This was a 7-shot weapon that fired metallic cartridges loaded from the bottom of the buttplate. Has the Spencer Maker/Patent Date as well as SN#41839. The mechanics are fully functional with nice action. The walnut stock is in good shape with one small crack as shown in pics and some wear around the buttplate. Has the long range rear sight as well as the front pinch sight. Barrel is full length with rifling remaining. Overall great addition to any Civil War Cavalry display or other museum collection. Please see all photos.
