SCHUYLER, HARTLEY & GRAHAM RETAILER M1850 FOOT OFFICER SWORD AND SCABBARD THAT BELONGED TO CAPT. HARRISON H. ROWE 102ND OHIO VOLUNTEER INFANTRY
Original Civil War Schuyler, Hartley & Graham Retailer M1850 Foot Officers Sword and Scabbard that belonged to Capt. Harrison H. Rowe of the 102nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The sword is in Museum Quality Condition with beautiful brass patina guard/pommel and original leather/wire wrap. The blade is full length with a nice point and lots of patriotic engraving including the "US'". Does not have a maker mark but does have the Schuyler, Hartley & Graham retail stamp. The scabbard is complete with throat, mounts and drag. The drag is missing the small set screw and is loose. Tight stitching with no repairs. Has a beautiful presentation to H. H. Rowe on the throat. Really nice example with great history! Please see all photos for condition.
