Original Civil War Confederate Nashville Plow Works Cavalry Officer's Sword and Scabbard with a beautiful aged patina. The handle has an amazing Confederate Brass Patina with really nice "CSA" letters and Nashville Plow Works Maker Mark. The original wrap has worn down to the wood from service with only partial wire intact. The guard is slightly bent out of normal shape. Blade is in really nice condition with single blood fuller but does have a worn down point. It also has a few flea bit size nicks more felt than seen. The scabbard is in great condition with original throat and mounting rings. Does have a small repair as shown in pics. A great overall example that will make a great addition to any Museum or Civil War Collection. This relic won the best Non Dug item at the 2021 Chattanooga, TN Civil War Show.
