Original Civil War Standard M1859 Federal McClellan early war Cavalry Saddle with a Museum Quality Look.. Comes compete with all that you see in the photos including the stand. The saddle tree and leather side flaps are in good shape with a beautiful patina. The tree shows some restoration but the rawhide is mostly complete. Has some repro attachments, rings and plates but looks really nice. There are also a few modern leather straps. The Iron Stirrups are the "Break Away" Style that was popular with the Confederate Cavalry and in great shape. It has an original set of saddle bags that look nice with the saddle but have been torn apart in the middle and repaired. Because of the missing leather they are not a perfect fit. The Carbine Boot is intact and in great shape. There is also an original crupper that is rare to find and really adds to the display but in fair condition. Also comes with the Really nice and complete M1858 Canteen with original cover and sling. Adds an awesome touch to any war room. Please see all photos and call if I can assist you further.
