Original Civil War Enfield P53 CS Import Artillery Carbine with Bayonet and Scabbard in Museum Quality Condition. Has a beautiful overall untouched attic patina. The mechanics are fully functional with nice action and the hammer clicks in both positions. The walnut stock is in great shape with normal wear from service and age. The barrel is full length at 33" and has nice rifling remaining in the barrel. Has the bayonet mounting lug as well as long range sight. Lockplate is maker marked with the British Crown. Has the "25" "25" stamp for .577 caliber. The bayonet is in great condition with a beautiful matching displaying patina. Scabbard is complete and fits the bayonet perfect.
