Original Civil War Cooper Second Model .31 cal Pocket Revolver with a beautiful displaying patina. Produced by the J M Cooper Company of Pittsburgh, PA and closely resembles the Colt Pocket Revolver. This example was manufactured at the companies Philadelphia, PA facility between 1864-1869. Has all matching early serial numbers 3610 except for the loading lever which is also an original early number 1328 and matches the guns patina. The wedge is an unmarked original. The walnut grips are in great condition and fit the gun perfect. The 4" barrel has a nice bore and is marked "Cooper Firearms MFG Co Phila. PA. Pat. Jan 7 1851, April 25 1854, Sep 4 1860, Sep 1 1863, Sep 22 1863". Mechanics are tight with good working action. A nice looking revolver that won't break the bank. Please see all photos.
