Original Civil War Non Excavated Confederate Tin Drum Canteen with a beautiful pleasing patina. The spout is intact and in great condition. Has all three of it's tin sling loops. Measures 6 3/4" x 3". Very similar to the examples on page 53 of "Civil War Canteens" by Stephen Sylvia and Michael J. O'Donnell. Also similar examples in Collecting the Confederacy by Shannon Pritchard. An excellent example that will add to any Civil War Collection. Please see all photos.
