Original Civil War Confederate States Armory Kenansville 2nd Model ( or Type II) Cavalry Saber with a beautiful displaying overall patina.

The brass handle and pommel are in good condition and have the classic file marks and casting flaws. Has the Roman Numerals XXXVIIII (39) that you like to see on these swords. The leather wrap and wire have been professionally restored by Jeff Leathers and looks really nice. The blade is full length with the single blood fuller and has not been sharpened or reshaped. There is some pitting on the blade throughout and to the tip. Please see all photos.

These swords were a product of Louis Froelich in Kenansville, NC and is commonly referred to as the Confederate States Armory.
