Original Civil War Confederate Spiller & Burr 3rd Model .36 Cal Revolver in Museum Quality condition. Manufactured in Macon, GA with a contract of 15,000 and patterned after the Whitney Navy Revolver. This gun is all original with matching numbers except for the loading lever and catch which are original period Whitney Revolver Parts. The frame has an amazing Confederate Brass Patina. The walnut grips are in great condition with normal wear from service and fit the gun perfect. The barrel length is 7" with rifling remaining and original brass cone sight. The loading lever moves freely and secures tight. An amazing piece of Confederate Cavalry history that will be a great addition to any Civil War Museum or Collection.
