Original Pre Civil War Colt M1851 .36 cal Navy Revolver SN#9473 which is a rare 1851 Production. This is a very heavily used but still mostly complete example at a great value for a large frame Civil War Colt Gun. The walnut grips are in good shape and fit the gun perfect. They do show wear from service and one small section MIA at the toe of the right grip. Evidence of being used as a hammer on the bottom of the grips and brass frame. Has all matching numbers except for the loading lever and the Colt Original wedge. There are traces of the New York barrel address and does have its front bead sight. The bore is dirty but has rifling remaining. There is not any cylinder scene but you can make out the serial number. The action is loose but does work properly. A great opportunity to own an iconic Colt Weapon under $1,000. Many of these early guns went to Southern Soldiers as the example shown in the last pic (SN#12,817). Please see all photos.
