Original Civil War Colt M1851 .36 cal Navy Revolver and Leather Holster. The gun has all matching serial numbers of 48424 (1856 Production) except for the cylinder and the original Colt wedge. Does have a matching patina and has been together for some time. The walnut grips show heavy wear from service and has 3 cool kill notches in two places. The mechanics are functional with working action. Has the New York Barrel Address with original bead sight and nice rifling remaining. The brass trigger guard has a good amount of original finish. The Holster is in great condition with the closure tab and belt loop intact. A great displaying example. Please see all photos and call or write for more information.
