Original Civil War Colt M1851 Navy Revolver with all matching serial numbers of 142173 which is an early 1863 production. Has a really nice overall smooth dark patina. The mechanics are fully functional with crisp action. Has a full length Barrel with rifling remaining and New York Barrel Address. The front bead brass sight is intact. The loading lever moves freely and secures tight. Has the Colt Patent Stamp on the left side of the frame. Notice it has an incorrect .31 cal stamp as well. The walnut grips are in really good shape that show wear from service and 14 kill notches. It does have the Colt Patent and serial number on the cylinder with traces of cylinder scene remaining. Has a couple of replacement screws. A great example for the price. Please see all photos.
