Original Civil War Colt M1851 .36 cal Navy Revolver with very desirable early war 1862 production. Shown in the last pic is a Colt Navy (118930) just 3 numbers off that letters to B. Kittridge & Co. Cincinnati, OH shipped January 20, 1862. This gun most likely was in that shipment and will letter the same way. It was cleaned at some point but is ageing back nicely with a pleasing overall patina. Has some pitting in areas. The Walnut grips are in great shape. The barrel is full length with the New York Barrel Address. Has the original brass bead sight and a great bore. The mechanics are fully functional with tight action. Has all matching numbers of 118933 including the wedge. The loading lever moves freely and secures tight. It does have an ID tag someone has put on the bottom of the grip. A great overall example priced much lower than I am seeing at the shows. Please see all photos and call or write for payment options.
