Original Pre Civil War Colt M1849 .31 cal Pocket Revolver with exotic grips and original case with accessories. Has all matching numbers except for the Colt original wedge of 66008 which is an 1853 production date. Has an overall beautiful patina with some original finish intact. The exotic grips are tight to the gun and fit perfectly. The right side is darker from laying in the case. Has the Colt Patent on the left side of the frame and the New York Barrel Address. The mechanics are fully functional with nice action. The loading lever moves freely and secures tight. Has the original bead sight and nice rifling in the barrel. Beautiful cylinder scene remains and some silver wash on the brass trigger guard. Comes with the 1854 patent date 1/2 case, Colt patent brass .31 cal bullet mold, 13 star cross pistols powder flask, extra cylinder with partial scene remaining, Colt gun tool, Eley percussion cap tin with caps, and .31 cal original bullets. A beautiful overall example that will make a great addition to any Museum or Civil War Gun collection. Please see all photos.
