Original Pre Civil War Colt M1849 .31 cal Percussion Pocket Revolver with 4" barrel and very desirable pre war 1859 production date. Has all matching serial numbers of 152153 including the wedge. Has a gray metal overall patina. Mechanics are fully functional with working action. New York Barrel Address with a rifled bore. Has the Colt Patent stamp on the left side of the frame. Decent amount of cylinder scene remains. Iron trigger guard and backstrap of the handle. Walnut grips are in great shape with normal wear from service. Loading lever moves freely and secures tight.
