Original Civil War Barnett P53 Enfield Rifled Musket with a beautiful overall untouched patina. Barnett had a strong association to the South and this gun whistles Dixie. For sure the cheapest Confederate Guns available for purchase and this is a great solid example. The walnut stock has normal wear from service but otherwise in great shape. The Lock is fully functional and clicks in both positions. Very nice "Barnett London" stamp on the front of the plate and "British Crown Tower" behind the hammer. The brass buttplate and trigger guard fit the gun perfect and have a nice aged patina. The barrel is full length with really nice rifling intact. Has the British Proofs as shown in the pics from "The English Connection". Has it's original rear sight that moves freely as well as it's front pinch site.
