Original Pre Civil War Austrian M1842 .75 Cal Percussion Carbine in untouched attic condition. The mechanics are fully functional with good working action. The carbine is 30" total length with 14 1/2" .75 cal barrel. Has pitted bore with rifling remaining and has the original pinch long range sight. The stock has several cracks as shown in pics. These were basically hand cannons and lots of examples show this wear from service. A great addition to any Civil War Collection of Cavalry Display without breaking the bank.
