ADAMS .44 CAL REVOLVER CONFEDERATE SERIAL NUMBER RANGE RELIC CONDITION
Original Civil War Adams .54 Bore (.44 cal) Revolver manufactured by the London Armoury Company in Battlefield Pickup / Barn Find Relic Condition. This example has the serial number of 40455 which is in the Serial Number Range of 33,000 - 42,000 that were imported by the South. It's also is very close to the gun 40537 which belonged to Stonewall Jackson on display at the Museum of the Confederacy. Overall dark ground action patina. Has a really nice Adams Patent on the left side of the frame. Has the serial number on the frame and cylinder. The mechanics do not function but the hammer, trigger and cylinder mover freely. The barrel has rifling remaining and original front sight. The walnut grips are in rough condition and have pieces MIA. Has all 5 firing nipples intact.
