Original Pre Civil War Virginia Manufactory Percussion Musket with 1813 date. Has a beautiful attic brown thick patina that displays great. The stock is in good shape for its age with normal wear from heavy service. Has a small piece MIA from the top of the buttstock opposite the buttplate. Has some cracks and an old repair on the back side of the lockplate. And a little bit of wood loss around the firing area. The mechanics are fully functional with nice crisp tight action and the hammer clicks in both positions. Has "VIRGINIA" in front of the hammer and "RICHMOND" "1818" Date on the rear of the lockplate. Has a 63' hammer with matching patina. Has a full length barrel with front pinch sight as we as all 3 correct barrel bands intact. Comes with an original replacement ramrod and also the reproduction Confederate sling. Please see all photos.
