Original Civil War Gold Bullion Epaulets and Painted Document Tube that belonged to Maj General David S. Stanley. He was a Union Army General in the Civil War that took part in the Second Battle of Corinth and Battle of Stones River as a Division Commander. He was later made a Corp Commander under William Tecumseh Sherman and sent to Tennessee to oppose John Bell Hood's Army of Tennessee and fought at the Battle of Franklin (Nov 1864). Medal of Honor Recipient. The Epaulets are in Museum Quality condition and display amazing. The painted black document tube is in great shape as well with nice ID.
