Original Civil War Federal M1858 Forage Cap in attic untouched condition. Has a beautiful overall patina with nice colors. The inside liner is mint with a beautiful maker and size tag. The sweatband is complete with honest wear. Outside material also shows some wear from actual service and a few small repairs. The visor is in great shape. The chin strap is complete with both Eagle Buttons and brass strap buckle. A great addition to any Civil War Museum or Private Collection.
