Original Civil War Excavated Confederate Egg Belt Buckle with nice Standout CS letters and beautiful dark displaying patina. Was recovered by Chick Thompson at Boswell's Tavern, VA. This is the version that has the lead filled back. You can see where the original hooks were. Does have a little bit of rim damage but overall a really nice example. A great addition to any Civil War Collection of Museum . Comes with a copy of an earlier COA handwritten note from James Blevins and I will add a COA guarantee as well with the buckle pic.
