Original Civil War Colt M1860 .44 cal Army Revolver SN# 44372 which is a very desirable early war 1862 Production Date. Has all matching numbers except for the unmarked wedge. The mechanics are fully functional with good working action. Has really nice walnut grips with a faint Military Inspector Cartouche on each grip. Also has a faint New York Barrel Address and Colt Patent Stamp on the left side of the frame. Has the original brass sight and deep rifling remaining. The cylinder has very little scene with a worn out Colt Patent and serial number but enough to see that the numbers match. Loading lever secures tight. A great example of one of the main workhorse revolvers of the Civil War. Just a nice honest example that will display strong at a great price.
