Original Civil War Colt M1860 4-Screw Army Revolver with very desirable early SN# 6071 which is an 1861 production date. These early models had the 4th screw in the frame to mount with a shoulder stock. This gun has a few issues but has a very pleasing overall displaying look and near perfect working action. The cylinder has a small amount of scene remaining and a great Colt Patent stamp and serial number. Unfortunately its mismatched but matches the gun perfectly. The wedge is Colt original mismatched number as well. As mentioned earlier the mechanics are fully functional with tight crisp action. The barrel is full length with the original brass sight and has amazing holster wear as shown in pics. Has the Colt Patent stamp on the left side of the frame as well as the New York Barrel Address. The loading lever moves freely and secures tight. The walnut grips a re in good condition with normal wear from service including two small pieces on each grip. Otherwise they fit the gun really nice. The trigger guard serial number is very faint but still there. The barrel serial number has worn away. An overall good displaying Civil War Weapon at an affordable price. Please see all photos for condition.
