Original Pre Civil War Colt M1851 Hartford .36 cal Navy Revolver with very desirable 1858 pre war manufacture date. Has a salt n pepper overall patina. The walnut grips are in great condition with normal wear from service. Has the Hartford Barrel Address as well as the Colt Patent stamp on the left side of the frame. Has all matching serial numbers except for the unmarked original wedge. Loading lever moves freely and secures tight. The mechanics are functional with working action but the cylinder does not stop in the right place. Has some really nice cylinder scene in places with Colt Patent and serial number. A great displaying piece of history at an affordable price. Please see all photos for condition.
