Original Civil War Colt M1849 .31 cal Pocket Percussion Revolver with 5" Barrel and 1863 Production Date. Has all matching serial numbers of 248146 including the wedge. The walnut grips are in good shape with normal wear from service. Possibly refinished at some poi time. The mechanics are fully functional with working action. Has the Colt Patent stamp on the left side of the frame and a New York Barrel Address. Rifling remains in the barrel with the original brass bead sight. Loading lever moves freely and secures tight. A great example for the money and a great addition to any Civil War Museum or Collection.
