Orginal Civil War Colt M1849 Percussion .31 cal 6 shot Pocket Revolver with a 4" barrel and has all matching serial numbers of 255572 which is an 1864 production. Has a beautiful overall matching patina. Has the Colt Patent stamp and .31 CAL stamp on the left side of the frame. Also has a really nice New York Barrel Address. The brass backstrap and trigger guard have a matching aged beautiful patina. The mechanics are fully functional with tired but working action. Loading lever moves freely and secures tight. The walnut grips are in great shape with normal wear from service. Lots of cylinder scene remaining. A really nice example Civil War Weapon that displays amazing and will make a great addition to any Civil War Collection. Please see all photos.
