Original Pre Civil War Colt M1849 .31 cal Revolver with a very desirable early 1852 production date. Has mostly matching numbers with the exception of the frame and has an unmarked original wedge. The mechanics are fully functional with working action. The loading lever moves freely and secures tight, The walnut grips are in great shape with normal wear from service. Has the New York Barrel address and the Colt Patent stamp on the left of the frame. 4" Barrel with rifling remaining. Does have some original silver finish on brass trigger guard and backstrap of the handle. Very solid Civil War Weapon at a great price. Please see all photos.
