Original Civil War Double Bagged Tarred Canvas Knapsack in really nice condition. It has oral history of belonging to Sidney E. Colburn of the 16th Massachusetts Battalion. It is out of the Joe Fitzgerald collection and was sold recently by Brian Akins of Rebel Relics. The knapsack is in great condition and could be used today. The straps are complete and in great shape. One shoulder strap has a maker stamp I cant quite make out. A great addition to any Civil War Collection and a great research item.
