Beautiful condition Original Ames M1860 Light Cavalry Sword and Scabbard in untouched condition. The brass guard and pommel have a beautiful matching patina. Has the JH inspector stamp on the pommel as well as the drag of the scabbard. The original leather wrap and wire are intact. The blade is full length with a perfect point. Has the Ames Maker Mark on one side of the blade and the US / Inspector Initials / 1864 on the reverse. Scabbard is complete and in great shape. Please see all photos for condition.
