Original Civil War Ames M1860 Cavalry Sword and Scabbard with very desirable 1860 production date. Has a full length blade with Ames Maker on one side 1860/Inspector initials on the reverse. Has the original leather wrap but no wire remaining. The pommel has two inspector cartouche and well as the drag of the sword. A really nice overall example which was in service for the entire war.
