Original Plant's Mfg. Co. Front Loading Army Revolver in great condition with original Leather Holster. The mechanics are fully functional with really nice tight action. The brass frame has lots of its original case color silver wash. The walnut grips are in great shape with normal wear from service. Has the Plant's Mfg. Co. New Haven Ct. Barrel Address and original brass front sight. The 6" .42 cal barrel has rifling remaining. Also is marked with Merwin & Bray New York on the side of the barrel. The cylinder is marked with the 1859 and 1863 patent dates. A really nice Civil War private purchase handgun with holster at an affordable price.
