Original Civil War Ames M1860 Cavalry Sword and Scabbard with very desired 1860 Production Date in Museum Quality condition. Has a full length blade with a perfect point. Has one of the best Ames Maker Marks I've seen on one side of the blade and 1860 date on the reverse. (No U.S. or Inspector stamp) The brass handle and pommel have a beautiful aged brass patina and the leather wrap and wire look great. Scabbard is in perfect condition with tons of service wear to the drag. Drag does have an inspector stamp as shown in pics. Please see all photos for condition.
