Original Civil War Ames M1840 NCO Noncommissioned Officer's Sword with nice overall aged patina. Has the Ames Maker Mark on one side of the blade and U.S. / Inspector Stamp / 1864 date on the reverse. Blade is full length with a perfect point and very minimal nicks if any at all.
